Sun Shines for Ready Set Trot SA Carnival

The South Australian weather turned on a perfect day for the South Australian Interschool Ready Set Trot Carnival, held in the regional town of Strathalbyn on Sunday 20th March 2016.

Excited young horse lovers and their families enjoyed games and activities from the Ready Set Trot Playground Skills program, with even the parents getting involved in the action! As always, the pony rides were a big hit, with carnival goers lining up for a second or third ride on their favourite pony. The face painter created some beautiful works of art and everyone’s creative side was on display for the colouring competition.

Congratulations to Lleyton Misfud and Emilia Varas who took home a special Ready Set Trot prize pack as the winners of the colouring competition!

With the Carnival being held along-side the Strathalbyn Interschool Competition, young and old alike enjoyed the opportunity to watch the competitors in action. Some of the Interschool competitors also couldn’t help themselves from joining in the fun of the Ready Set Trot Carnival during their breaks!

Thank you to Equestrian South Australia and Anne Lindh for assisting in the running of yet another amazing Ready Set Trot Carnival.
