Read more...The South Australian weather turned on a perfect day for the South Australian Interschool Ready Set Trot Carnival, held in the regional town of Strathalbyn on Sunday 20th March 2016.
Excited young horse lovers and their families enjoyed games and activities from the Ready Set Trot Playground Skills program, with even the parents getting involved in the action!

Read more...There was lots of horsing around happening at this year’s Australian International Three Day Event. With free pony rides, giveaways, games and activities – the Ready Set Trot Carnival was the place to be!
More than 450 young people and their families visited the Ready Set Trot Carnival across the weekend, enjoying the free pony rides offered by one of our South Australian Ready Set Trot Providers, MJET riding.
Ready Set Trot, the junior participation program which is making it easier for more young people to have a go at equestrian sports has been named as a finalist in the prestigious FEI Awards.
Ready Set Trot is one of four finalists in the FEI Solidarity Awards, a prize that highlights the individuals and organisations who dedicate their time, skill and energy to expanding and developing equestrian sport from the grassroots up. (Read about the finalists HERE)
The first NSW Ready Set Trot Carnival kicked off 30th September to great success! Threat of thunderclouds loomed, however that didn’t stop the over 100 parents and kids attending the Ready Set Trot Carnival, complete with pony rides, a jumping castle and horse themed games and activities.
Channel 7’s Sunrise and Channel 9’s Today Show programmes crossed live to Werrington Public School this morning at 7am to talk all things Sporting Schools.
The live cross featured the Minister for Health and Sport, Sussan Ley and Werrington Public School Students.
