After Ready Set Trot

Has your child completed the Ready Set Trot Stable Skills program and is interested in whats next? Or is your child a secondary student wanting to get involved in a horse education program?

Equestrian Australia (EA) offers great opportunities for juniors to further their involvement in the horse industry with a range of education courses. Juniors aged 12+ can sign up to complete the Introductory Horse Management and Introductory Horse Riding courses to learn more about the basic concepts of general horse management and advance their riding skills to move on to higher levels. These certificates also form a head start on the EA Coaching Accreditation’s, which can be started from the age of 18.

Each EA State Branch offers education programs for juniors that encompass the Intro Horse Management and Intro Horse Riding courses with additional incentives and programs. See your respective State program below.

You can also look at joining your local Pony Club to start working through the Pony Club Australia Efficiency Certificates. For more information on Pony Club Australia, and finding a local club near you click here.

Or check out your local Riding for the Disabled Center and learn to become a Volunteer or other fun ways to get involved and make a difference. For more information on Riding for the Disabled Association of Australia, and finding a local club near you click here.
